With the playing season drawing to a close this weekend the time has come for the clubs Annual General Meeting.
The AGM will be held at Morgan Rugby Club, Alloway Terrace, Dundee. The meeting will start 7:15 on Wednesday 18th May and doors will be open from 6:45pm. Refreshments will be availble to purchase behind the bar. All current club members are encouraged to attend and of course if you are under 18 we would encourage your parents/guardians to come along too.

As usual we will have our annual GoalHunter Tournament at DISC on this day but it won’t just stop there.
We are pleased to announce our very first Awards Dinner will be held in the evening. The Dinner will be held at The West Park in Dundee and will be a black tie event, the evening will consist of a sparkling wine cocktail on arrival, a 3 course meal, awards ceremony and of course entertainment will commence after the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
This event is invite only, although most of the invites have already been sent we may have missed you out by mistake so please accept our apologies, but if you would like to attend the GoalHunter, the Awards Dinner or both please private message this account with your details and we will happily send you an invite!
For those who have already replied we thank you for your continued support for our ever growing club and we hope you are all looking forward to the day.

Monarchs Christmas Quiz Night
This years quiz will be held at Morgan Rugby Club on Friday the 4th December 7pm
Christmas Jumpers are essential and there will be a prize for the best one.
There will also be a prize raffle on the evening, we would be very grateful for donations and if you could share the event on Facebook and invite some friends and family too that would be great.
There will be NO MENS OR JUNIOR OUTDOOR sessions at Dalnacraig until the new year. Details of when they resume will be posted here in due course.
The men will start training indoor this Wednesday 18th November.
The ladies however will continue training outdoor at Dalnacraig 7:30-9 for the time being, Coach David will advise how long this will run for.
If any of the men do not wish to train indoors then you are of course more than welcome to attend the outdoor sessions.
The October Holidays are now over and that signals the return of our Under 23 sessions at Dalnacraig each Wednesday evening.
Our Under 23 sessions are now FREE, the club has removed the £3 fee.
Speaking at the Management Meeting last night, Dave Hunter, Head Coach said,” The training for the younger members of the club is vital for our long term stability. The committee decided to extend the training to all members under 23, as well as remove the £3.00 fee.” He added, ” Of course new members are always welcome, we have equipment for beginners, and a range of coaches which cover males and females from Primary 4 all the way up to Under 23 level”.
The Senior training takes place at the same venue at 7.30pm.

Senior Men and Ladies: 7:30pm-9.00pm
A club race night is running alongside the clubs first ever ‘Pop Up Club House’ which will be held on Saturday 3rd October 2015, situated at –
St Johns Church Hall, 116 Albert Street, Dundee, DD4 6QN.
The club have the use of the church hall from 13:30, with the Mens 1st and 2nd teams playing from 11am that day we welcome all club members to support both teams and join us in the pop up club house afterwards and enjoy the club day with us all.
The hall will be open from 13:30 until 23:00. The race night part of the day will start at 19:00. The club has gained a licence to sell alcohol and we will be selling drinks throughout the course of the day via drinks tokens which can be purchased on the day through David Hunter. Under no circumstances will you be permitted to bring alcohol onto the licensed premises during the course of the evening and I.D will be required for every purchase of a drinks token.
There are Horse sponsor sheets now available, please contact Craig Munro to get one but these will be distributed at forthcoming matches and training sessions.

Monarchs Hockey Clubs Pre-Season meeting will take place on Saturday 22nd August at 11:30 am. The venue will be the meeting room upstairs at Dalnacraig. The meeting will run from 11:30am until 1pm followed by a mixed hockey game at the pitch across the road between 1pm and 2:30pm. All current and prospective members are encouraged to attend and of course if you are under 18 we would also welcome your parent/s or guardian/s to attend the meeting with you.
